Here’s our story
Mama was 83 years old when she came to live with me and my kids. We had high hopes that leaving New York for a slower lifestyle would have a positive impact after dealing with some medical issues.
Within 6 months of her moving in, we learned that she had a brain tumor, which led us into a whirlwind of unexpected medical issues, countless visits to specialists, and transformed our lives.
Since becoming her caregiver, I have spent many stressful nights Googling the ins and outs of healthcare, researching tips for her dietary needs, and trying to find ways to tackle all the unexpected things that arise.
At The Caregivers’ Corner, I hope to share everything I have learned so that it may ease someone else’s journey.
